I honestly can’t figure out how and why some people would choose to hold on to a lie.

What’s the point?

At the same time I am in awe that some people can’t feel that they are being lied to.

No — I’m not posting this because someone lied to me.  On the contrary, I am happy that the people around me knows how much I abhor dishonesty and so they avoid it.

As [one of] my favorite biblical passage goes:

Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.
