Yesterday morning on our way to take my daughter to her school, we encountered an accident right at the school’s entrance. It involved one truck, three AUVs, one sedan, and one motor bike. *They say* casualties included a prep student. The traffic was so harsh, Jamie and I had to walk from the highway to school. There was also an old man who asked me to bring two Grade 1 pupils with me too.
I had to cover Jamie’s eyes as we walked through the scene of the accident.
There were shards of glass everywhere, most probably from the sedan and one of the AUV. Jamie accidentally stepped on a pool of blood and the driver of the truck was arrested in front of her. I am hoping that I covered her eyes well and she did not see any of those.

MANILA, Philippines — A man was killed and at least six others were injured after a wayward delivery truck plowed into eight vehicles along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo City, on Monday.
Antipolo police identified the fatality as Retardo Regencia, 35, who died while undergoing treatment at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center.
The six other victims, including one-year-old Audrey Tirol, were rushed to hospitals for treatment of injuries.
Gaudioso Capiz, 48, driver of the truck (plate number UAG-748), told investigators the truck’s brakes conked out and the truck rammed into a Toyota Altis then plowed into the opposite lane, bumping seven other vehicles.
Capiz was taken under police custody, and charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property with multiple physical injuries were being prepared against him.
